Shinsoo Empire
The Shinsoo Empire lies in the south of the continent. The main occupation of its people is trade.
Founded by Yoon-Yoing after the collapse of the old empire, it turned trade in the eastern region into a profitable business. Shinsoo's conflicts with the western empire have endangered the trade route. When they discovered the danger posed by the Metin Stones, its mercenaries took up arms. Their goal is to defend themselves against attacks from the west, to reopen the trade route and to unite the old empires into a single empire - their own.
Chunjo Empire
The Chunjo Empire lies in the west of the continent. It is a theocratic empire ruled by spiritual leaders.
It was founded by Yoon-Young, one of the former emperor's cousins. His wife's great magical powers helped him recognise the danger of the Metin Stones in time. Again and again he urged that protective measures be taken against the Metin Stones, but no one listened. So he led his army in a rebellion against the old empire. Since the old empire collapsed, Chunjo has been locked in open battle with the empires of the east and south.
Their goal is to control the entire continent and to defeat the growing power of the Metin Stones.
Jinno Empire
The Jinno Empire lies in the east of the continent. It was founded on military power, and its people are aggressive and warlike.
The leader of the Jinno Empire is Ee-Ryoong, son of the former emperor. He believes he can reunite the old empires with the help of his army.
Officially, fears about the consequences and dangers of the Metin Stones have been ignored, but in secret Ee-Ryoong is trying to find a way to use the deadly power of the Metin Stones for military purposes.
